Frequently Asked Questions

How is the course structured?

The first session offers a preview of each section of the test. Problems are presented in a lecture format and students take notes for the first half of the session. For the remainder of the session students will work on material as determined by the instructor with the ability to ask the instructor or other students for help. Homework is assigned at the end of each session. Subsequent sessions begin with 15-30 minutes of homework review followed by individualized work assigned by the instructor. At the end of the last session each student will be provided with a unique strategy for test day.

Wait, there's homework?

At the end of each session, students will be given 60-90 minutes worth of homework to complete before the next session.

What if I have specific questions?

After the general homework review, students have the ability to ask the instructor any and all questions that they may have, either privately or in front of the group.

What if I only need help on one section?

Each session offers 60-75 minutes of individualized work time wherein a student can work on the specific section he or she needs to improve.
